On this page you will find photographs of the Ancestral Villages of the family. There is Goersdorf where we know that Jacob lived, Preuschdorf where the family had property, Minfeld where Mathias got married, Freckenfeld where the family lived from 1795 to 1800, they then moved to Jockgrim and stayed there until 1809.
From here they went to Speier near Odessa before taking the long journey to North Dakota, America in 1903. In 1914 the family travelled to the Forget area of Saskatchewan in Canada.
